Robin’s vision of the Nest is a personal reflection: Simple, quiet and comfortable. Her aim is to create a warm, inviting bed & breakfast where guests can unwind, relax, and be revitalized without having to spend a lot of money. Under her loving care and a relentless pursuit of perfection — Robin’s Nest will continue to evolve with high standards and new experiences for all who stay.

We are an eco-friendly business. We renovated the building using bamboo flooring and low VOC paints. Old appliances were replaced with new energy-efficient models. We use compact fluorescent bulbs in most light fixtures. Thermal insulated shades and blackout curtains are on all bedroom windows. We try, with our guests’ assistance, to keep laundry to a minimum and we use biodegradable cleaners. We do not use pesticides in our gardens or anywhere on the property. Our goal is to set a high standard of service, while impacting the earth as little as possible.

Robin was once a Marketing, Communications, Program Manager and Development Director working consecutively for a CBS affiliate, Publicis Advertising, Hewlett Packard, Amazon.com and Naturebridge. After 20 years in the corporate realm, she decided to put her BFA to use and became a full-time artist focusing on videography, photography and oil painting. Now she has turned her time and attention to inn keeping.
